Cos android naturally not good with standby battery drain. It’s possible if users turned off sync and/or airplane mode when sleep.

Will the Mate 20 X be available in all markets?
Currently, availability is planned for limited markets. We will not be bringing the Mate 20 X to the EU this year, but there's a possibility it will come to EU later. We already have 2 high-end phones and three would be too many.
Also, this screen size - I really love it - but the European consumers are more conservative and prefer smaller phones.
Our phone is similar in size to the iPhone XS Max but ours fits a bigger screen in the same body. But with the iPhone already in the market, perhaps perceptions will change.
Perhaps more consumers will accept the large screen phones.
The Mate 20 X is only launching in China, Asia, and a few other markets.

The Non Pro body is so unwieldy? U can have bigger battery and better specs in a phone that "feels" smaller but isn't actually. Why not?

Almost the same. Just that mate 20 doesn't have wireless charger!

Mate 20 doesn't support wireless charging. Only the pro version has it.

The 'while stock lasts' is real. There is a number circulating in this thread. When I asked one of the staff there, this number popped up as well but I don't really believe it as Huawei should know better.
So I believe if they ran out of stock and the purchase fulfills the requirement, they may bring in more. Then again, this is just speculation.
A second tier freebies are now being offered by those large electronic stores if you pre-order from them

Depending on usage pattern. On normal days, my IP7plus can last me 1.5 days (when it was new, no playing games; no WIFI no BT)
I missed my Philips Xenium phone... the battery can last 1 whole week!!!
