One thing i dont like about the video recording of the mate 20 is that it is too zoomed in. If i go to Normal photo mode (not the wide angle lens, which will be even better), it is able to capture a wider FOV than video mode.

Think is cause it doesnt use the 12mp camera

The last I checked, nop.
The closest I get is to use face recognition and let the phone wake on pick-up.
Or you could practice to accurate put your finger on the censor when the phone wakes up. :s13: But the finger sensor performance deteriorates over time I feel, much like what Samsung did a couple of years ago. Very irritating.

So far, the face recognition has served me well, although sometimes I wonder if any tom dick and henry can also unlock it.

Ya. If you are good at it, it's a one-touch unlock. :s13: Take a bit of practice to aim accurately. But it doesn't work well after a while because as said after a while the performance of the sensor deteriorates.

What is the PD protocol and which phone models does it support?

USB Power Delivery (PD) is a new charging protocol. It can be used to charge devices with different charging capabilities (up to 20 V/5 A). PD allows both data transmission and charging to be bidirectional. It is also compatible with USB Alternate Modes, allowing connections to other types of ports, such as DP and HDMI.

The following phone models support the PD protocol:

P30 and P30 Pro

Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X, and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design

Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Design, P20, P20 Pro, and Mate RS

Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design, P10, and P10 Plus

HONOR Note 10, HONOR V20, HONOR 20, HONOR 20 Pro, HONOR Magic 2, and nova 4

Mate = Samsung's Note
P = Samsung's S

So P and Mate can be said to be from different series. Mate series usually get the latest SoC while P series is half a generation later, so I'll only go for the Mate.

How the Nova range matches the Samsung ?? Thanks very very much.

I tried to enrol my face for Face U lock on my M20Pro, however it takes forever to register and never ends. Any idea why?
