Sent from HUAWEI Mate 9 Gold using GAGT
Yeah. You guys are right. Need to uninstall messenger as well. Phone left idle will consume about 30% of battery life...Sian.
Go to settings, apps, Facebook, battery and disable system wakeup.
If it's an app being the culprit then it's a relief that the phone is fine cause my mate 9 felt really warm when I took it out of my pants pocket the other day.
Deleted the Facebook app and will monitor whether battery drain is still there. Can consider using the swipe app as an alternative.
For me android OS and Facebook were the highest consumption of more than 15% but I didn't even use Facebook app much. Seems like LG V20 users are also reporting a battery drain from the Facebook app.
Everyone report this as bug in fbDid all the settings you mentioned above liao. But Facebook is really battery sucker now. Will still drain the battery even when plug in to power source. So delete the app now is the only alternative. Did facebook recently did any update? Lets just hope that they can rectify the issue soon.
bro your whatsapp is serious!!! 48 is quite high imho....My facebook uses 6mah of battery on average every hour, though i don't even open it up to use. Is this normal? Whatsapp uses 48mah battery on average every hour, but i do on and off look back to my whatsapp when there are messages. Is this again normal? Many thanks!
