Hi, have anyone tried to replace their battery for your mate9 as part of the warranty? Will your data get removed in the process? My mate9 battery life has been cranky so thinking of replacing it for free under the warranty. Thanks!

Always back up your data when sent to service centre.

I'd not tried changing my battery with Huawei SC. But did change my screen with them for free. Data came back in tact though and replacement was fast too. Got my set back in 1 hour. But (guess you know this too) SC don't guarantee your data when your phone is with them.

I replaced my Mate8 battery before, they will return your phone in a clean slate.

You mean contacts or dialler? Yes the dialler used to be a blank top portion where you can key in or paste phone numbers. Now it shows the call log, makes it a bit harder to paste phone numbers.

The navigation button is much better than iPhone. You can hide the navigation bar below forever.
