On singtel & received the update. Updated to emui9. So far still okay.. but battery wise cos use for near 2years so battery wise not as good as brand new

Near 2 years means still have warranty? Better go for replacement before warranty up. They will replace your screen cos it's connected.

Thinking of go for replacement but phone got alot data, need install back very Mafan leh.. you went for replacement also?

Yes, at the end of the 23rd months of warranty. Claimed battery drain, registered and given a service report. Told turnaround time of 3 working days, but was done with 1 hour. Only issue is having to format the phone.

hi, like to check any1 here on tunein radio app in your mate9?
recently i’m keep seeing a notification “third part application connected to tunein radio” and it just show at the top and display by itself, which i didn’t have time to screen capture it.
does any1 have have the same notification ?

Received the Pie update on mate9 after going into HiCare App to agree for Pie update.
After accept, Go system settings, check for updates and received the Pie update.

Current Build: 9.0.1.159 (C636E6R1P8)

Now able to use gestures for one handed operations

Yes, done at 313. I just say battery drain. Phones nearing 2 years of usage will have certain extend of battery drain issues one.

Think have. But I OCD, prefer to do everything manually so as to be sure that migration is complete.

actually I think the best backup method is to get another HW phone and clone your data to it.

Went to 313 svc ctr yesterday around 11am. Collected back the phone around 130pm. They change the battery & mother board. Not sure how true did they change the battery as I feel like roughly the same..

My mate 9 also got update. Huawei bravo, now already mate30 era, still bother to update mate 9. Do other phone manufacturers do that also?.

Definitely not LG or Sammy. Few updates during and certainly rare after 2y.

Xiaomi comes close with update frequency and longevity.

For me the warranty of 2y is good value, changing out battery and screen at 2y mark, plus it is a ~2h turnaround.
