Went to 313 svc ctr yesterday around 11am. Collected back the phone around 130pm. They change the battery & mother board. Not sure how true did they change the battery as I feel like roughly the same..

Maybe you just changed the battery and spent time restoring data. Hence, used more initially. Have to monitor.

Motherboard? Are you sure motherboard too? Cos usually if change battery, they will change screen too as connected. Unless your phone got serious issue then change motherboard.

Yes they change the mother board cos have issue on the micro SD compartment, sometimes can't be detected. So the person say change motherboard & battery. But never say change screen leh.. but if change screen, can check the different? Will they take off the old screen protector?

I see. Change screen, phone will come back without screen protector. At least, mine did.

If not mistaken, Mate 9 series was launched in SGP sometimes on 29th Aug2016... slightly 2.5 years back... so not that old.

My Mate 9 is still running very well. After this update, I'm likely to just change my battery and use for another year+

Went to change my battery today before my warranty expires next week. Had to restore everything and upgrade firmware several times. Quite a hassle. Hope it was worth it

Android Q will be releasing this year. if huawei pushes EMUI 10 for mate 9, I'll be fully satisfied.

Volte works on mate9 for selected operators.
Sg dun have but my malaysia digi sim has volte for about 1 year?
