Volte works on mate9 for selected operators.
Sg dun have but my malaysia digi sim has volte for about 1 year?

I see. I was looking for it for my TPG sim card. Got a reply from them saying mate 9 does not work for them for VoLTE

I gave up trying. Read that Mate 9 supports volte, but needs to root and edit certain system file for telco in sg. In Malaysia, it works though. Oh well, just use it for data bah...

Just checked, no updates

Sent from HUAWEI MHA-L29 using GAGT

Funny. I'm in Indonesia, using the broadband here although I have Starhub's prepaid card in the phone. Usually, I get updates later than you guys in Singapore.

My Mate 9 is also just updated too. I will just change the battery in the next few weeks. Thereafter, I expect to use it for another 1 year+.

How much u pay for the battery change?

I have not changed yet. On Huawei's spare part website, it is $12 (battery) + $35 (labour) + 7% GST.

This is definitely value for money as my Mate 9 is still very fast and I seldom use camera - mostly for work just to take some document photos.

I changed mine last December. It was foc. Just walked in and claimed battery drain issue. Got a ticket and was told to wait 3 working days.

However, from previous experience, knew that they can turnaround quite fast. Hence, hint to them that I'll be in the area. If finish fast, can call me to pick it up. Indeed, was called within an hour for collection.

Do note that you will have to factory format your phone, so do your back up before proceeding. They will ensure your factory format it before taking over the phone.

I received the update as well. Surprised.

Received same update on SingTel at 8++pm.

Ha ha... I'm not the only one who's 3 weeks late. No worries, this is not competition, no win or lose.

I still have a few months of warranty. I will check how it goes. Even if I'm asked to pay, it should be fine for me if that is not too expensive.
