I have not changed yet. On Huawei's spare part website, it is $12 (battery) + $35 (labour) + 7% GST.

This is definitely value for money as my Mate 9 is still very fast and I seldom use camera - mostly for work just to take some document photos.

i though i read before for batt change, they will change a new screen for you too.
so dont be surprise if they are charging you for a new screen too

They didn't charge for the new screen in my foc case. Gotta check with them if yours is a chargeable battery change.

Just wonder anyone whatapps message delayed?

me and my husband both holding mate 9 (9.0.1) are facing same problem.

recently whatapps messages did not receive automatically till we launch the apps.

have reset power saving / reinstall apps..still same problem.

Occasionally, you need to re-start the phone to clear the memory.

Actually I just checked. Singtel just lower the price of Huawei handset by 100

My battery now is being changed. I cited the issue I had with the current battery. Since it is still under warranty, it is foc (nonetheless it is not that expensive to change at around $48)

I was actually at Gateway to collect my free TPG SIM card and I decided to change the battery since coincidentally TPG is at the same outlet.

Now I can still continue using for another 1 year+

As long as there is a work around to download the Android Apps, I will stick to Huawei for the price, features and warranty.

They gave me a new screen foc too although my old screen is actually in perfect condition

They said that the battery mechanism and the screen is connected, so have to change.

I'm very happy with this current phone. So I will use it for another 1 year at least.

By then, most of the chip and OS challenges Hua Wei is facing should have been ironed out.
