Speaker only on the right side... the left grill is there for aesthetic look

Actually the earpiece also outputs sound, but quite soft.

It's not I dont want to share. As I said before everyone needs is different. You need to keep trying in order to find the best setting for you and your usage.

Anyone know how to control the charging for mate 9?

Just checked with the huawei support, they advise to unplug the charging once reach 100%.
My phone always low bat around 11pm and its my sleep time.

Once I wake up, it might have been charged for more than 5 hrs.

Any apps or setting can stop the charging once reach 100%?

you may have to verify if the information given to you is 100% correct..
i can't believe such a high end device is not built with power management circuitry to monitor charging..

just a quick share, read from here somebody suggested using nova launcher to swipe up to turn screen off
it'll give you 2 options, if you used device administrator finger print unlock will not work anymore
otherwise it'll just turn the screen black and wait for device time out

an alternative is to enable the floating dock from smart assistance inside the system settings
from there you can click on floating dock and choose lock
takes 2 steps to lock your device but finger print unlock still works

Yes but with the floating widget, it makes the phone like an Apple phone. Haha

I would prefer if I press the home button and hold the screen goes off. But couldn't find any options on tt.

Then again, my fren told me just press the power button, since it has 2yrs warranty. Make some sense though. Haha

i can't believe such a high end device is not built with power management circuitry to monitor charging..

Just switch on ultra battery mode at night when you are going to sleep. So when u wake up, charge it while you go brush teeth and get ready for work/sleep. Fast charging will help

I am currently using google keyboard. weird thing tt I encounter is when I try using my right thumb to swipe and type, there seem to have a little blue box blinking. And when I try to swipe words, it somehow didn't have a blue line to follow my thumb motion but rather a blue box expanding and when I lift my thumb, the blue box will appear and blink.

Anyone know what is tt?
