Once I wake up, it might have been charged for more than 5 hrs.

my last few phones i charged overnight...
plug in before sleep, wake up overnight and unplug...

not sure whether it this actually harm the battery...
now i plan to plug in 1 hour before sleep and unplug before going to bed....

hopefully this will prolong battery life...

Same for me....probably I need to change habit too

Mate 9 has SuperCharge so I don't charge my phone while I sleep anymore. I wake up, charge my phone, go brush, wash, change up then collect my phone go work. 30mins give me around 50% battery life

Who got the tendency to hold upside down when u wan to use the phone? I always hold it upside down with Huawei logo on top. I find the bottom of the phone is heavier than the head part. That explained the mix up .. No home button even harder to differentiate.

joined the mate 9 club...got my set from Starhub Plaza Sing, bugis junction no stock, not even 1 set.

sad to say Huawei dun make car charger. I trying out a Qualcomm car charger which supports 3.0 fast charging. Doesn't seem to be fast. Might wanna try using the Huawei cable tml and see is it tt fast

you are right. However for car how to use the charger? Huawei doesn't make one.

Hence looking at the cable its output can go up to 5A. Default car USB the output is only at 2.1A to 3.0A. Hence have to use the cable to give it a try to see if can fast charge.

In office or at home definitely use the supplied cable and charger. But in car charge, will need alternatives

Huawei does not support QC 3.0 charging.

I am using an Aukey 2.0 Qualcomm fast charger in my car. Sadly the car charger charges up only normally on the Mate9. The charger charges fast on my other SD phones
