Spigen got case for Mate 9? I can't find on Qoo10 or Spigen website....

Not yet.

The ones on low Yat forums (Spigen & Ringke) are probably not genuine.

I got other cases from a china supplier instead

Huawei support team reply my mail , mate 9 only support 4G WiFi not 5G that why the speed below 100Mbps.

Disappointed of their reply

hmm...Never heard of 5G WiFi, I think they meant 5G mobile network which its still yet to be deploy.

WiFi even 11n can do over 100Mbps, no reason the IEEE 802.11ac can't. I believe the software must have some bug preventing the speed. Hope Huawei would solve the issue, together with the stupid numbering of notification.

Just bought the Spigen Rugged Armour case from qoo10... the smart case is useless against drops... I know because I already crack my screen :(

Now waiting for Huawei Customer Service to call me when the replacement LCD arrive as they only have the gold one - you will need to replace the LCD and casing apparently.

You use the windows or the see thru case like below?

The mate9 is quite big by itself, worry adding a more protective case would make the phone too big to grab.

Its 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz frequency for WiFi, 11n and 11ac support both frequency.

The 5G in mobile network stands for 5th Generation.

So there is no 5G WiFi but 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile networks.

My age old--2012 Dec--HTC Butterfly which support only 11n can hit higher speed than the mate 9, something must be wrong with Huawei firmware, isn't it?

1) but still fine.
2) the Screenshot scroll works with everything. Are you sure you did it correctly?
3) Samsung fanboys cannot get used to other keyboards. 😄😆🤣

Not bothered with wifi..just wonder y slower for a phone a generation newer..

Yeah only browser. Other apps e.g. qoo, whatsapp, messaging all ok. What browser u using?

I not fanboy but i miss the numbers above keyboard..easier to key in alphanumeric password..solved with swiftkey

I get at less than 700.

$898-$120-3% rebate-$25 (credit card) - $30 (64gb SD card) - temper screen protector - flip cover = $680

Oklah...value for money..

Mine is the original see-thru case - it is really not a case that would help your phone survive a drop.

I don't find Mate 9 big so not an issue for me. In fact the 6" screen is the reason why I bought it over the Oneplus 3T.
