After the update, the camera always start on auto mode? Can't seem to start at the last used mode. For example starting at HDR instead of the standard photo mode. Or even after starting in a specific mode, after a while it will revert to standard photo mode.

Do you use home button to close the camera app or multiple taps on back?

Tried on mine and it behaves differently when using the 2 methods. Using back, it will revert to auto mode before closing.

By pressing the home button, it will stay in the last used mode for a while. Maybe after 10 to 15 minutes after closing the application, it will revert back to the default photo mode.

You are on B188? For me it's fine for a while. Maybe after 10 to 15 minutes after closing the application, it will revert back to the default photo mode.
I'm on B188. Oh yes, if continuous taking no issue but after close (did not monitor the timing cos i took photo again a few hrs later) then will go back to default.

Under settings, there is a mobile data setting. Any idea how we can get it to reset the usage based on monthly billing cycle?

I don't play games, but yes Facebook can suddenly close and restart while I'm browsing.

Too aggressive battery management?
I contacted Huawei tech support, this is their answer.

This may be a power consumption issue. If the system detects that an app is consuming an excessive amount of power, it will forcefully close the app to extend the device's battery life.

To prevent the system from closing excessively power-intensive apps, go to Settings > Battery, touch the settings icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then disable Close excessively power-intensive apps.

------------

I tried it, and it works. I told Huawei that, this is not the intended use, because the function only supposed to close background apps, but not foreground. They told me that the next firmware release (they are pushing) will remedy the situation.
