The reception is better for my Mate 9 after the Oreo update. Previously I can't receive any data when I'm in the lift but now I can but slowly.

have you tried turning it off from the notification management menu?

Does anyone know how to turn off the android notifications on what apps are running on the lock screen? I downloaded the app to disable notifications when using the phone, but it appears whenever the phone is in lock screen mode. Thanks!

WhatsApp is now very irritating after the update. Despite turning off notifications in WhatsApp and pop-up notifications settings in System, WhatsApp keeps popping up messages.

The only way to stop the popups is to disable notifications entirely in Settings for WhatsApp.

Yeah. Pop up is okay, i dont like the constant vibration even though everything is off.

WhatsApp works fine for me. but noticed in settings now there are many more fine granular breakdown of types of notifications. Maybe u need to try different settings.

i using chrome browser lol. so far so good with the update but i think the power savings mode seems abit aggressive in oreo. my s health step tracker app cqannot count the steps when the screen turn off as the power savings seems to trigger it.

I try chrome, but the layout not quite friendly. Search & found Samsung browser, not bad. Maybe can try if anyone is finding a good browser:) cheers!

I use Chrome.
Used Dolphin years ago as it seemed lighter on resources but seems to always have bugs or crashes so gave up.
