Anyone called Huawei Service Hotline 800-852666 before ? I called yesterday and an Indian guy answered the call. Asked him whether he was answering from India and he didn't want to reply. Is Huawei Service Hotline also outsourced to India?

I also brought my mate 9 to 'check' on the battery yesterday.

I was shocked that the crowd was huge. when I first send my mate 9 for screen replacement early this year, I was even able to get the phone back on the same day, and the service was fast.

I waited for 1 and a half hour before I was served.

I then casually chatted with the CSO and asked him about the increasing customers. he told me that ever since the launch of nova3i, they have a lot of elderly coming for assistance on how to use the phone.

I really pity the CSO. Huawei really need to expand their CS centre too, since the brand is picking up in Singapore.

Good job, Huawei.

Was intending to buy Pocofone F1 to replace my Mate 9. But, with the new battery & screen, plus the fact that it hasn't slowed down, can't find any reason to pay the $400+ for F1.

Just wanted to confirm Huawei Service Hotline is outsourced to India.

That Indian guy could't help at all. In the end gave me Somerset phone number. Called more than 10 times till the phone auto-hanged up, no one bothered to pickup the call. By then i also raised the white flag :frus:

Maybe the big crowd of Nova 3i users and the Mate 9 users sent by us here kept them super busy. :s13: :s13:

went to 'check' on the battery and I got more than I expected.

they said the charging port was faulty, indirectly damaging 1 of the component on the motherboard, the cause of the battery leak.

so in the end, I got a new battery, LCD screen, motherboard and charging port.

luckily the crowd for this morning was little, hence collected my phone pretty fast.

Shiok right? Usually other brands, they charge you a hand and a leg for repair
