Was looking forward to the P30 (w/o the Pro) but found out it has:

- no wireless charging
- no IP68 rating
- no TOF camera
- no support for 40w super charge 2.0

The Pro version supports all the above but its way too big for my hands notwithstanding, adding on a case will make it ginormous... A real bummer.

Only thing going for the non-Pro (which the Pro does better) is a decent low-light capability.

For now, I'll skip the thought of owning a Huawei. A close one though.

You miss out important point, price.
Screen size smaller but sharper.

Camera huge different to a point where p30 totally no worth it comparing to pro. Main camera aperture is higher at f1.8 with no OIS. Lower megapixel for ultra wide. Zoom at 3x compare to pro 5x

Hmm?? just buy a Mate 20 .. its the same thing .. way cheaper too .. only at $650

P30 Pro uses either BOE or LG OLED panel..

P30 uses Samsung OLED panel, evident with the Pentile pixel matrix.

Went naked with my new P20 Pro, with a tempered glass screen protector and a back film protector. Dropped it 3 months in, cracked the screen. Never going naked again.

I'm still going for the Aurora colorway but i'll put it in a clear case.

The one they give is GT active. New model. It’s not 200+ la. $368 rrp.

The Huawei active GT looks to have 2 weeks battery life.
