the battery life doesnt seem as legendary as p30 pro.

Most reviews have also stated that while battery life is good, it is not at the p30 standard. Same size battery, but having to power a higher res and 90hz screen so confirm will take a dip.

Also, the ultra wide angle lense is much less wide compared to p30 Pro, which is already narrower than other phones like Samsung.

That, and no Google services are the reasons holding me back from upgrading

It didn't ask me to. Just verify my account with pin

Still can use grab just that u can’t see the map but it is working.

I believe grab will enable Huawei’s map services soon

Yeah this is the best so far to get your p40 to have gms. For Google pay, u can replace with Huawei pay or uob pay or singtel dash if you really need it. Else just flash your card

Have decided not to hack my brand new p40 Pro to install GMS. The hack shown in YouTube video seriously compromises push notifications. Living with several gaps right now including PayWave and SimplyGo. Wrote in to Huawei to quickly enhance Singaporean user experience!

Yeah this is the best so far to get your p40 to have gms. For Google pay, u can replace with Huawei pay or uob pay or singtel dash if you really need it. Else just flash your card

Singapore is a small market to them and with the fan boys in here willing to go though hoops and leaps and still willing to use without gms why would huawei bother with Singapore
