ZTE is not big or strategic enough to summon country backing then.

Huawei however is the face of Chinese tech advancements of a true global reach. They are strategic and poster child worthy for PRC.
They are the mascot of US bullying as well.
So in this way, they are already in a much better place than zte.

To a lot of people and country out there, the incident is an awakening to decentralize from the US.

But theses are volatile times, hard to predict or foresee.

Nevertheless, while ZTE seemed like the closest example, it is not that best.

Windows Mobiles sucks big time back then cos they are laggy and follow IOS Inflexibility to customise. Android OS is more customisable and easy to use. If Nokia will to use android os back then, I think they will be able to gain back leadership

Microsoft is very serious about their win OS for phone too. They even bought over Nokia just to ensure win OS can be successful but in the end failed.

Is too late for another OS (to be exact,not even OS, but just a app store on top of Android) when Android and iOS has already captured most of the market share.

limited RL hands on review:

Silver is really beautiful,
sometimes blueish, sometimes silverish with black shades depending on lightings.

Speaker is inferior to S20U as its not dual speaker

Back camera wise (with limited usage), picture quality is on par or slightly better than S20U.
Auto focus is noticeably more accurate/faster and is snappier/faster in low light and shot to shot. (kudos to the largest phone camera sensor in the market now without the flaw experienced on S20U)
Front camera is finally good! Loses to S20U a little in details but is a significant jump from previous non AF front camera. The HDR is impressive too!

The right size and ergonomic to hold. The unique screen curves actually make it addictive to do the navigation swipe actions, feels pretty good (unlike M30P which curves are of no use and maybe a hindrance to some).

Buttery smooth operation on the phone (but I don't game)

I am quite impressed with my 3hrs' experience so far

I was using a few WinOS phones then and was really impressed by the legendary Lumia 1020 (it was like 3 years of photography tech ahead of the rest but bogged down by the not powerful enough chips then)

I wouldn't say WinOS is laggy. It is more of a wrong timing in the wrong hands.
The previous CEO Balmer was too old school to direct or give it the required push and lure while the new CEO, Satya didn't see a point and simply abandoned the project.
The market and developments can see the luke warm MS approach and simple chose not to support or just halfheartedly.
That's it...

Need more time to see, to be fair...
but just from judging the battery drain with the intense app loading/ setup etc,
P40p is living up to its pedigree on battery

Exynos cannot be a match XD
(But i remembered there was a time when exynos was good. 3-4 years back?
It was beating SD on battery then, oh well, TSMC got so good that Sammy is no match at all doing in house)

Yup, but you have to disable the notifications from all apps that needs or depend on google license
& the google management app is wonky...
A make-do experience until better ones are out.
