you can follow this video as recommended by another bro here in the earlier post. i used the same video guide as reference.

as for the singpass im not sure if it works cos i only helped him to install, test that the playstore etc is working as intended then i left. but you will most probably need a bypass for singpass to work.

After installing GMS, will Google Pay able to work? Can make Google Pay payment with its NFC capabilities at shops or taking public transport?

My singtel dash is working now. So I think beside the payware function. The rest is fine with me now.

Bought a Huawei P40 Pro from Lazada few days back. Was expecting the delivery today but the dispatch guy only made it to my workplace after 8.55pm, when almost everyone has knocked off and gone home.

The dispatch guy didn't bother calling me also to check as I do have colleagues staying behind to help me receive the parcel.

Now the delivery has been rescheduled on the 11 Aug 2020, can only lay my hands on the phone after the National Day.

Do check when receiving whether the parcel was open carefully before

30 Pro if you want to minimise any hassle.

40 Pro if you're willing to live with HMS or sideload GMS and live with the quirks that comes with sideloading it.

Unless one is sure, don't think one should trust using a phone having 3rd party GMS installed if one values its personal information. This is because the 3rd party who provided free apps could have hacked to modify or delete the Google's GMS security features for the phone to work. Who knows if that 3rd party put any "goodies" in the his apps.

Sideloading gms is too risky. Better avoid at all cost.
