Either buy a cheap or 2nd hand android phone or borrow a spare android phone from ur friends or relatives.

Or side load gms, port all ur msg over then back up via huawei cloud or huawei memory card then factory reset ur p40 series to hms only and restore from hw cloud / memory card lol

so far your GMS loaded set is working well? you cannot update firmware; or can just update as per normal

Even Singtel in-house app eg Singtel TV go cannot run on P40 series due to GMS. Cast app has to be side-loaded. Mysingtel app has to be updated to latest version then can use. Why sell this phone in the first place if they cannot even sort out their own apps?

Because there are people who do not need these SingTel apps on their P40 and P40 Pro.

Take note both SingTel TV Go and Singtel Cast need subscription. They gave one year free of SingTel Cast Entertainment Plus pack for SingTel mobile subscribers previously but no longer now.

Anyway, I think Huawei has put enough warnings for the P40 Series Phones.

Note: I myself will not buy P40 series of phones as the main phone. Rather I am sticking to my P20 (Kirin 970) and Nova 5T (Kirin 980) and both of them have GMS. I use a Huawei tablet without GMS for Chinese Entertainment.

i wait from mate 30 pro to p40 pro then p40 pro+ and now considering between p40 pro+ and note 20 ultra. now i wait for mate 40 series..
dang.. my mate 10 pro so lasting.. lol

whether huawei still can continue handphone business unknown. No one will supply chips due to US sanction. All items relates to US technology cannot supply to Huawei from mid September.

P40 Pro users. What is your latest security patch date? Mine singtel set is 1 June 2020.

It depends on your definition of good...

iPhone is a good option.
Or Samsung if you want to stick to Android.

Among top 10 best selling global models in Q1 2020, only 2 entries are from Xiaomi, the rest 8 entries are from Apple and Samsung.
