pls update us on wed. which model is this? 4gb/8gb, ssd?, i5/i7?

It was supposed to be the i7/8GB/256GB SSD with 3G. But apparently the thing has been delayed even further and lenovo is completely unable to even provide a concrete delivery date anymore... Time for more waiting I guess...

I believe it's $3148... plus $228 for accidental damage protection was $3376.. will be trying to go down later and enquire about what exactly the situation is

i upgrade my x220 to win8, boot time is really fast! less than 8 sec to login screen.

but not all uitility software are available....like power management, access connection not out yet

Ooo. i just installed my msata ssd to my x220 on win 7. having 30secs boot time.
idk if i'll ever want to upgrade to win8 man..

Same. My W530 also unable to install many of Lenovo software.

My new X230 came with Windows 8 but unable to install Win 7. Will have to look through the bios.

They did a secure boot which I had to disable in order to install Win 7 but screen hang mid way during installation. For the record, this is my 3rd set of X230 which I'm installing. Win 8 bios apparently has been programmed differently.

The lighted keyboard is worth the money.

The x1 carbon touch was just "unveiled" on their website 3 days ago...

As for when it'll arrive, I have no idea, seeing as even addon still does not have the x1 carbon 3G yet... sigh..

Oh... I saw the display set last week and thought it was already launched some time back.
