I reckon they can earn commission if you input their rep id. Happens to me as well...

The one whom i chat with mess up my instructions. I put up a request to cancel an order and was advised to proceed to make a new order. Few days after, I enquired my cancellation status with another person and was told that no request was put up. Now I have 2 orders of the same unit shipped out.

i also hold back from buying the deal buster, becos they dont have Win 7 option... kinda turn off for me..... i heard Win 8 alot of software unable to work... darn... think about the games in my steam account...

Not sure which model you getting, for x230 can still choose win7 if you customized it. Strange thing is for the 4 specs shown for x230 only the lowest end specs can select win7 while the rest only win8 option. Probably ur desired model works the same

Has anyone bought the T430U? I wanted to get it during Black Friday sale but was put off by the small battery capacity and non-ips screen.


I went crazy over Thinkpads this year. Bought 2 sets of X230 and 1 set of W530. I really love my X230 and have gotten used to the new keyboard. Still quite nice to type.

Forget to add that I also bought the Thinkcentre M92P. Paid USD 420 after subtracting the keyboard and mouse before GST and freight. Very chio but the stupid employee at the Mexican factory pasted a M72 sticker instead.

I bought my X230 1 week earlier. If I had waited, could have saved a further USD20. My entry model starts from USD 594 for the X230. I upgrade here an there to i5, IPS, camera, 9 cell, biometrix, lighted keyboard. Paid USD 744 before freight and tax.

My x220 tablet integrated camera does not appear in the device manager (Win7 Ult x64). It is enabled in BIOS. Anyone can help how to fix this problem?
