When it gets a little warm, the touchscreen feature stops working, which is pointless. For example, driving under hot day for awhile. will only work after restarting. So, even with a free parking coupon, you may still need to pull out your card.
some workshop provide the mounting casing for the OBU screen to install at the top of the windscreen. check shopee.
actually i thought its bad, until i tried it.I find the OBU very tight and my fingers are not as nimble now. It was much easier to remove the card in the old system. For the OBU, I definitely need way more than 1 sec.
just tell ur SE.anyone got a new car & can you request where to install the obu or no choice?
better install the screen, else you be bombard with loud noise. no way to off sound from app alsoDON'T INSTALL THE SCREEN!!!!!!!!
that's my only advice to u.
where ur workshop? thinking of relocating and disabling the sound. My workshop installed the cash card under the compartment. Haa
according to this video
the screen can be adjusted down when not needed
is it true?
ERP 2.0 app also have this feature. The screen will show you number of parking lots available when you are near shopping malls (like one junction away). I find this information helpful.
get workshop plug in the screen, disable the sound first then remove the screen.better install the screen, else you be bombard with loud noise. no way to off sound from app also
can disable. disable via the screen only.
only via app cannot disable.
almost all cars wld hv AV inbuilt car set so i was wondering if the obu can integrate with car AV set?yes true.
but why would u need the screen in the first place? dun install it and ur windscreen and eyes will thank u for it.
somemore if u dun install the screen, and u got OCD to MUST ALWAYS monitor the remaining balance, there's always the Breeze app or the ERP2.0 app.
the installer can plug in the screen, start the engine, disable the sound, THEN turn off engine, pull screen out.Oh I see. So it's those act smart people decided not to install the screen and thus complaining ...ok, so I will tell them to install the screen also. Thanks. Mine is 23 May with Borneo motor...
the installer can plug in the screen, start the engine, disable the sound, THEN turn off engine, pull screen out.
settled.
the screen isn't overly complicated. just 1 purple coloured BNC connector only.
my apple carplay can't mirror screen to my car, so i can't display that ugly ass ERP2.0 app screen to my display.almost all cars wld hv AV inbuilt car set so i was wondering if the obu can integrate with car AV set?

the holder may damage ur window film. So, I can ask them to install the screen first. Then if I'm not happy, can suka suka remove the screen also, right? Just leave a holder on the windscreen correct?
