I recently applied for Citi rewards card and linked to amaze. So far spent $170 on offline transaction, mainly groceries and dining and I got 1700 pt already as soon as the transaction posted, statement haven't yet closed. Is this correct?

I'm currently with cimb cc promotion. I need to spend $500 retail spend.

If I use input my cimb mc with amaze and use it to purchase something in foreign currency, would the retail purchase appear in cimb statement or in amaze statement?

Thats sound good. So chances are if it was a eligible to begin with, passing it through Amaze will still render it eligible purchase for whatever rebate?
yes, so long mcc is eligible for rebate. Note that merchant specific rebate promo on cimb card will not be valid since if pay via Amaze, merchant change to Amaze.

I better not risk it.

Plus I just realise the card I applied was visa

Which is why I am ok with AXS not accepting. The 3 or 4 days period back in Oct was already a wary period where high number of transaction under amaze and axs would appear on their dashboard easily drawing eyeballs to it. But I'm not from bank so I can't tell what they would do next but pleased the card even lasted till now from its launch because of some indirect 'cooling measures'. We've seen many gets nerfed at a even faster rate in the past

in e past, i think most of us wouldn’t even b too bothered with such cards frankly. 100 per qtr is a good perk, but not a life game changer

while i hardly do these looping anymore, i can general sense the lack of perks in e cc/debit platform already.

I applied for Citi Rewards card via singasaver, also need to spend 500 to get 350 cashback. I am using amaze + Citi rewards on groceries and dining and I am getting 10X points as well, so it should be included I guess. If it wasn't included, I wouldn't have got the points either.

I have managed to hit 200 so far and need to find a way to spend 300 more. Mobile and utility bills etc are not allowed.

I think I will just topup my fairprice gift card. By the way, does Fairprice xtra sell laptops? If my laptop spoil I plan to use this fairprice gift card to buy a laptop if possible.

For the excluded MCCs, does it still count towards the minimum $500 spend/quarter?

For example, I have $300 spend on excluded MCCs and $200 eligible spend, will I get $2 rebates in the next quarter?

hm, what are the exclusions for this promo?

the usual exlusions .. AXS, insurance, Govt etc but does not specifically exclude Amaze

the reason given was that transactions have to be using the Debit Card, not via another payment method ... (also not stated)

anyways, i will wait for the actual award date, if really not given, then appeal
