I compared between these 2.

1000SGD get me 718.68USD at Transferwise and 723.9USD at Instarem. Both using credit cards to fund. Instarem is better.

Yeah, my bad. Transferwise does charge more fees for debit/credit card funding. But at least they make it clear. Instarem shows the fee as $4.50 whereas it is really $4.50 + $19.65 for a $1000 transfer. The additional fee seems to be hidden - just the final transferred amount decreases when the funding source is changed to a debit/credit card.

Either way, funding Transferwise or Instarem via debit/credit cards is a waste of money.

ipaymy doesn't work with Amaze because they do not support debit cards. but cardup works so far. any data points on whether paying income tax through cardup with Amaze linked to UOB PRVI will still be entitled to UNI$? will be useful to use the 1% cashback to offset the cardup fee and get miles on the cheap.

yeah just saw this notification.

Any recommendation best card to use with Amaze card to pay AXS ? most cards not eligible for any rebates or points when charge to AXS right ?
or still better use GPMC with AXS since can get 1.5%-1.7% for GPMC Topup?

Technically, TCB / Absolute GPMC to AXS is more worthwhile..

But this is good for those without any of that 2 above mentioned CC.

Unless anyone has a better datapoint to share? :D

one reason for me to use amaze card for axs is so i can link to dbs cards to pay my insurance bills.
i can then apply for dbs my preferred payment plan to break my axs bill into 6 mth installment free and still earn 1% cashback from Amaze card.

I highly doubt so... 98% of all the CC excludes anything / everything relating to AXS payments

Thanks, but Amaze would mask the transaction and it would appear as Amaze, so maybe will get the points?

I noticed AXS is now not login and password.. So my old login account, not sure what happened to it. Now it is based on a passcode.

The demise of the card starts in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

let's hear the complaints of rewards reversal.

in UK, card issuer cut members because the members used credit card with curve card, which Amaze copies from.

No. the MCC code is passed over to UOB. It will reflected as AXS payment. No points/rebate at bank level

Thanks, I just paid my iras income tax using Amaze + UOB Prive Miles anyway and I can see the payment already in iras website. This is amazing.

Curve cut members?

In theory that’s true.

but I can tell you it’s not. Take it as how you will ;)
Have to depend if bank blocks MCC or via description, and how they match the description. Programmers will know how string comparison works.

I tested already, can only say the results is surprising
Anyways nothing to lose. My IRAS would be giro deducted. This is like credit card gives me couple of extra weeks to pay it, so it is something to gain rather than lose.
