I don't use the iPad camera at all so it's my iPhone as I find the iPad camera is somewhat inferior to iPhone.

I find it a bit weird using iPad to take pics. Usually, the latest iPhone will have the best camera.

If you need it, then purchase as it's a never-ending process. If you think the camera in your iPad Air 1 cannot make it liao or not good enough for you, then upgrade.

Actually my ipad air 1 working very well. I think I wait for next gen ba. Hope got camera upgrade in the next version

Honestly you won't need too many MP unless you're printing out your photos in large formats or need to do lots of cropping with editing.
