Very odd. On the iPad Pro, the "spatial audio" tracks always stopped after about 10secs or so. Not sure why. No problems with normal tracks or even when on iPhone.

Have already tried re-installing Music, and problem still occurs.
Have also played around with Music settings
- Dolby Atmos: Automatic
- Audio Quality: Loseless Audio (off)

All models were available for pick up for a short while.

But yes I agree. There’s definitely a risk.

Hi, those who got the new 2021 iPP.

Would you recommend to get this over 2020 version? 11 vs 12.9, I understand there's bigger screen estate, is it cumbersome for y'all to use on the go? Anything to take note when getting it?

I did my research and it seems like the biggest difference is
1) A12Z vs M1
2) 6GB VS 8GB/16GB Ram
3) Center Stage

2018 iPP is also on my list, but the storage is limited to 64GB, not sure if it is enough.
My workflow is mostly taking notes, using MS office. Content creation, maybe in the near future but not anytime now. Side note, I already have a MBP.

Content creation depends on what type of content. If 4K videos, then M1 IPP would be desire. Do u frequently needs to carry the IPP out? If yes, 11" is definitely more portable else 12.9" can be consider if u use it mainly at home. Previously was using 12.9" but return it to get 11" due to the portability. Not going back to 12.9" anymore cos 11" also better to hold while watching or reading articles on a sofa. Then u had got MBP, so 11" might be a choice. It's really up to individual needs.

Coming from 2018 iPad Pro, the current M1 iPad Pro is definitely speedier and more of an upgrade as compared to the 2020 model.

For me the iPad is just one thing - portability. As it’s always with me on work days, out and about, so 11” is the only choice. 12.9” is just a little too large for a tablet and bulky unless you use it more at home or just in the office. Yes, the larger screen with XDR technology is definitely better for HDR content and watching movies. If you’re mainly on content creation, perhaps the 12.9” might suit your better, else 11” is definitely much handier for taking notes.

So you need to weigh in the pros and cons and see what is your priority. If you can compromise size and weight, by all means go for the 12.9”. I don’t recommend the 2018 model now since the M1 model is better by a larger margin, unless cost is a factor. I also just sold my 2018 model. Looking at the points you made on the difference between the 2020 and 2021 model, 5G is also a main difference, though 5G now is still not as widely available as 4G, but will gradually increase.

Lastly, I’d still recommend getting the latest model to be more ‘future-proof’. Size wise, it’s your call.

Thanks tohchr and snoweagle for the inputs. I think 11” makes more sense for me since anything more powerful I can always use my MBP. 5G not a factor for me because i will be getting the WiFi version. Even if I bought the cellular version, 5G from our telcos will probably be rather costly, so I’ll just stick to my hotspot.

For me I took a 12.9” for real estate. For portability will get mini instead. 11” is too heavy and unwieldy IMO to hold for long time

for me. Cellular is a most. Just can’t be bothered to tether for internet, since I’m outside like 12 hrs per day without wifi network

I will recommend 2021 over 2020 unless you have good lobang. The limitation is the os. And you can save the $ for something else
