This is to protect consumers. That doesn’t mean you can’t continue to use the 3rd party screen.

Need to check with you guys about two things:
1. I tried to manually set dns but pressing save does not save the dns setting. Happening to any of you?
2. Is it normal for app store to keep asking me to enter icloud password before downloading new app? It is supposed to use Face ID, right?

With regard to DNS not sticking, this only happens when I switch iPhones/iPads and restore from backup.

Resetting all network settings fixes it.

Anyone encounter you plugged the cable but phone didn’t charge? Need to unplug and plug multiples times up to 3 times to get it charge, facing this with iphone 11

1 time plug onto iphone 8 no issue.. i tried changing different cable yet still the same.

EIS on ultra wide.

Yes all resolutions have stabilisation

Same cannot search message after backup

I had to wait until WhatsApp finished indexing before I could get any search results.

Yes I encountered the same issue with original cable and Anker cables.
Some cables are fine while others does not charger. All cables charge fine in iPhone XS Max.

So you solve the issue by getting a new cable? Dont understand why current iphone 11 take multiple times to charge it while iphone 8 take it 1 time to charge with the same cable and same charger

Happened to me

Waited for reindexing to finish also cannot

In the end just have to uninstall whatsapp and reinstall again. All will be okay after that

I just tried a different cable and it worked.
Looks like a hit and miss with certain cables.
Have not charged since I updated it to 13.1.2 to see if the problem exists.
