Ok sorry to those who annoyed by my repeative comment on 11 and pro.

Cancelled my 11 pro and ordered 11 128gb yellow . Cant justify that $400 extra.. dont flame me thou . Hopefully 2020 “pro” model will be more add ons to justify the difference

The 11 is fine. Buy what suits you. Don't care about others. Eventually, you will be the one using it for the next 1 year or so.

I don't think you lose out a lot this generation la, Pro model only has a few things "better" than XR:

1. Telephoto lens vs no Telephoto
2. 4x4 WIFI MIMO vs 2x2 WIFI
3. OLED screen vs LCD
4. Smaller bezels vs Slightly thiccer bezels
5. Stainless steel frame vs aluminum frame
6. Frosted back, glossy camera vs Glossy back, frosted camera

I think that's about it. I myself using XR now but really don't know if I should get 11 and sell XR. Really poisoned by yellow, green and purple colors...

But iPhone 11 is on aluminium side band. Once debris gets in between the phone and your case there’s a slight chance that the alu band might get scratched.

Pro Series Silver SS can be polished off by cape cod polishing cloth. If going for coloured Pro series, the space grey offers the best PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, as it has the darkest color.

I still prefer the slimmer bezel all round on the Pro series as compared to 11 though.

To each his own though. : ) Buy what makes you happy can le.

I think the only differences that'd truly matter for you would be the screen. You can ask many of using XR, the screen is fine, but my eyesight is like 900 degree so don't take my word for display quality!

The display on the iPhone 11 is absolutely fine. I don’t know why you guys keep harping in the display. It is the best LCD display you can get right now.

The iPhone 11 has everything you ask for and is the iPhone most people will get. Only when you want something better, then you go for the Pro. However, is the price difference worth it? That’s up to your own judgement.

Remember, using an iPhone 11 doesn’t means it’s inferior in everyway. In fact, that’s the default iPhone Apple wants you to buy.

Regarding the screen, I think it justifies the not so small premium over the iPhone 11 because there is a huge difference between OLED and LCD.

For a lot of people, it will be fine i guess. But there are some people who came from using an oled screen or HD screen, like from a samsung phone or iphone x so it's pretty obvious the screen is a downgrade. If you watch youtube or netflix everyday and you expect a high quality video from it...too bad the max resolution is 720p. Plus, the bezels on iphone 11/XR are thicker compared to the pro models, maybe it might turn off some people too who are used to using thin bezels from other phones.

I think apple is making a smart yet undesirable decision of separating the displays distinctly so people would force to buy the pro models if they really want a good screen.
