Yes. They reseal it back. Some open up will have telco logo and etc. They can confirm it's a new and unregistered set but cannot confirm its not a telco set.

Mine is confirmed 100% new because before that no stock.

But i think there's no way to tell unless the shop tell u so which will depend on how honest is the shop & price for a new and from telco after people recontract had difference one.

If i am not mistaken you can check the warranty on your phone to verify ? :s8:

To upgrade or not to

Have a question here to seek valued advise here.

I am currently on the iPhone X and am thinking of getting the 11 Pro Max. However, I am also taking into consideration that the iPhone 11 Pro Max will be obsolete once 5G comes into force next year (I read on news that 5G will come in phases). This is making me to think if should I wait for next year model or just upgrade. I usually try to hold on to the phone as long as possible, but this time round thinking to change as I am looking for a bigger screen phone.

That said, can I check if do you all take into consideration of 5G when going for the upgrade?

5G needs time to cover island wide. I believed u can still use 11 Pro max for another 2 years.

Not 100% next years device will have 5G. Hell, it will take more than just this year to get 5G completely covering SG. It took years to get our 4G up and running to today's state.

Don't expect it to be faster roll out than 4G. Esp with the requirements set our higher ups. It is not easy nor is it cheap to do so. You can use the 11 Pro Max for another 2-3 years before you get decent 5G coverage. Then you will have to see the pricing of those 5G plans, more speed comes with more spending which in turns comes with more cost.

Thinking of switching to 11... but still holding onto x.. working fine except for a few throttling here and there... might be due to battery..more advisable to change the battery out or switch to 11?

I'm just curious, is your storage full?
Also what's your battery health % at ?

I'm on 256gb with around 150gb free... battery health is 91%, I understand it says peak performance is still supported but isn't there seems to be frame drops when then phone is under heavy load. :s22:
