Coz I want ownership of the songs bro. Prefer not cloud-based. I'll try iCloud subscription when my songs erupt off the given free 5gb.

Can listen to songs inside plane.

That's why all these years my 80s songs, ripped from CDs collected since Sec 3 till CDs became extinct, till now I'm 41, are hardcopies backup in laptop HDD & thumbdrive.

Sometimes can trf hardcopy songs to music DAP.

So the artwork will appear while I'm playing it with the Music app.

The current range of movies is very limited. Cannot compete with Netflix

For arcade, not much interesting stuff. Maybe that will change if airtag can be used to pay wii like games

I had a library of MP3s and FLAC files as well. Once I discovered streaming services I couldn’t be bothered to maintain my library anymore. I get what you mean about owning your music, I have a vinyl collection and if you love music enough you’d always want a backup somewhere.

With streaming you literally have the world’s music at your fingertips. I pay for Spotify so I can download music for offline listening if need be. That’s how I listened to music on my old Huawei since there was plenty of space on it, I stepped down to 128GB on the iPhone so I’m just streaming everything now. M1 offers free Spotify streaming so I’m just maxing out bitrate on my streams, f it. It’s a subscription-based world, from Netflix to Game Pass to Apple Music...might as well get used to it.
