Apple likes to tweak their various components to such precision. Am guessing that the iPhone a14 is “downclocked” as compared to the iPad version with a larger battery

this time round would be super fast in sliding down..because no touch-id in this covid period.. and iPhone 6s to 8 still supported on iOS updates.

Both A14 are the same on iPad Air 4 and iPhone 12. There isn’t any downclocked on the speed.

On Geekbench, both are A14 are 2.99GHz.
Note that iPhone doesn’t run accurately with Antutu.
