My iPhone Pro Max keeps dropping signal. Can’t access to the internet even when it’s showing 4G. Can access WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook also. Anyone faced the same issue and did you manage to resolve it?

my problem is your opposite. my wifi (be it 2.4 or 5ghz) will always show full and connected but cannot surf or receive messages.

i switched to 4G and everything was ok.

You can try a reset network settings? or try the "turn on flight mode, wait awhile, turn off flight mode" trick

Lol. Ya, it’s been awhile. I tried already. From resetting network setting, to switching between SIM cards. Nothing works permanently. I have to second guess every time I can’t connect to the internet and it’s happening too frequent for comfort. Am wondering if this is an isolated issue or many are also experiencing the same. Also, did you try resolving your issue? Or you simply let it slide?

Keeps dropping signal but can still access facebook, WA, etc? Dun understand what you mean. Did u try other browsers like chrome or safari?

Now it’s better, so far haven’t encounter this issue for about 1 month plus? Hmmm I can’t be sure if it’s the infamous POSB/DBS banking app which causes this problem. Are you using this banking app?

Interestingly, I have no issue with banking apps, be it OCBC or POSB. Did you contact apple regarding this? I did and got a replacement set, but the problem still persists. Then again, maybe I should stop using banking apps for a day or two to see if they’re the culprits.

No ehh I didn’t contact apple for this as I was hoping the upcoming new firmware update would resolve this issue but lately seems okay. Fingers crossed. Ohh I always swipe up to close the background banking app after use.. just in case.. ha ha ha

Maybe I should try this too. Anyway, already fixed an appointment with apple tomorrow to hopefully resolve this issue. Another problem is my the stainless steel trim scratches easily. Any way to polish the scratches off? Mine is gold by the way.

I have this feature where if I use the UOB app my in-app browser will fail to work. is anyone facing this?

Maybe I should try this too. Anyway, already fixed an appointment with apple tomorrow to hopefully resolve this issue. Another problem is my the stainless steel trim scratches easily. Any way to polish the scratches off? Mine is gold by the way.

Sian right? Mine lately still behaving well... but will be paranoid when using the banking app to check balance or doing money transfer. Must quickly do then close app ha ha ha ha

Gave up. I do what I want den check go 3rd party app settings, if can access means lucky, if not den I restart my phone

i'm on Circles.Life (which lease from M1).
i rarely get no data. if that happen, a quick toggling of airplane mode usually solves the problem.

as for the wifi issue, i usually switch between bands if i notice the problem. like if on 2.4G problem, switch to 5G, and vice versa. usually solves the problem as well. not sure if its my router issue cos my POCO X3 sometimes also has this problem.
