Actually Face ID does learn to a certain degree. If you keep failing to unlock with Face ID and it prompts for passcode. Entering the correct pin will have your face quickly scanned and it would update the Face ID data.

“ Face ID automatically adapts to changes in your appearance, such as wearing cosmetic makeup or growing facial hair. If there is a more significant change in your appearance, like shaving a full beard, Face ID confirms your identity by using your passcode before it updates your face data. Face ID is designed to work with hats, scarves, glasses, contact lenses, and many sunglasses. Furthermore, it's designed to work indoors, outdoors, and even in total darkness.” - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208108

Wow this is news to me. Didnt know that they adopt AI in Face ID. Just curious, did you all really use the same mask as shown on the video and try it out everytime?

No. What I meant was, every time you wear your mask and you tried to unlock and it can’t recognise you, you just use passcode to unlock. Every successful unlock after failing to recognise you using passcode will train the AI to gradually recognise you? (I think so?) I did it for a few months, since I got the phone until now. 1 day out of the blue, it just suddenly recognised me and was able to unlock even wearing my mask. I didn’t set alternate appearance so it took the phone longer to do that.

He did it for 20 minutes uh non-stop, abit hardcore, I took few months hahaha.

But if you still use Face ID without your mask on when you are at home, wouldnt the AI be train to stick to your Face ID without mask?

My speaker suddenly became very soft and muffled. Apple did a test and found the speaker and receiver is faulty. The guy told me if it's water damage the repair will cost
I went around 815 then got back my phone at 930
Pleasant surprise they changed my oled for me. My oled had alot fingerprints as the oleophobic coating had worn off. Now my phone feels brand new lol
Everything back to normal again

Can't because they won't know how long your phone is submerged inside the water. IP68 only mean it can submerge up to 1.5M and max of 30 mins. Also, IP rating are tested with fresh water only, not sea water or any other liquid.

Some EU countries are bring Apple to court for not giving warranty coverage to the phones since they are IP68 certified. Hopefully they are successful and more countries will ask for it too.
