Gemini says there's a way to confirm which OEM screen u are using. Try the below steps -

Step 1: Trigger the Hardware Log

1. Unlock your iPhone and stay on the home screen.
2. Press and hold all three physical buttons at the exact same time for about 1 to 2 seconds: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power/Lock Button.
3. You will feel a quick, brief vibration. This signals that iOS has started compiling a full system diagnosis log in the background.
4. Wait 3 to 5 minutes for the phone to finish writing the compressed diagnostic file.

Step 2: Locate and Save the Log File

1. Go to your phone's Settings.
2. Scroll down and navigate to Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data.
3. Scroll down alphabetically until you find a file starting with sysdiagnose_ followed by the current date and time. Tap to open it.
4. Tap the Share/Export icon in the top right corner, then select Save to Files to save the compressed file to your iPhone’s storage.

Step 3: Unpack and Read the Code

1. Open the native Files app on your iPhone and tap on the saved sysdiagnose zip archive to automatically unpack/uncompress it into a standard folder.
2. Open the new unpacked folder, and drill down through these folders: ioreg ➔ open the file named IODeviceTree.
3. Use the search magnifying glass in the file viewer and type in raw-panel.

Decoding your Panel Code
The alphanumeric string right next to the raw-panel parameter tells you your exact bin:

• Samsung Displays: If the value starts with G9N, G9Q, or G9P, you have a Samsung-produced panel. (G9N is highly sought after as Apple's top-performing launch batch).

there's an easier option - add "Analytics" in AssistiveTouch. Run AssistiveTouch then just click.

Wow, been years since I visited HWZ.. weird uh nowadays no scalping or flipping for iPhones? I remember there used to be at least few hundred dollars profit from launch day, to buyers that take in to export sg sets overseas. Nowadays no demand?

You got G9N also right? If you have are using a few iPhones together, you will see the difference. If this is your only iPhone, it will become the standard/benchmark for you.

With such minimal upgrade year on year, demand and excitement has dwindled over the years.

That said, everyone is just waiting for Oct 23 - AI, bots and scalpers will sweep all preorder stocks.

Last year's US version has a larger battery cos of lack of SIM tray...not sure about this year. But u have to put up with no physical SIM option.

esim only pro is about 5% more battery.. pro max only 3% .. not as substantial as last year's models..
