Exactly what I am on about, brings me back to 10 years back of IOS experience instead but we are in 2026.

As long as it serves it's purpose, i think majority dun really care. Not like touchid sux. Anyway it will still sell like hotcakes even if it use "old" tech. Haha.

The problem with faceid is the need to swipe up to enter the desktop. Touchid once unlock goes straight to the desktop. So faceid still needs to touch something before the device becomes useful.

If the ultra os is similar to iPadOS, then I feel Apple needs to work harder. I dun actually like how iPadOS multitasking and the window system. I also dun like it when there can only be 1 active audio source. I wish Apple can be better in these areas. Haha.

You need to "scan" through touch ID then unlock so essentially the same as Face ID? And the issue is that the failure rate is much higher compared to Face ID thus the resistance with Touch ID compared to Face ID for me at least.

But yes, most will still purchase cause it's the latest and greatest from Apple.

to use faceid u need to turn on the phone first, then swipe to unlock. 2 steps. touchid only 1 step. probably u too long never use touchid already so forget. haha

faceid itself is also not perfect. at certain angles, device too far, it will not work. both got pros and cons. nothing is perfect.

Wrong shade of red for something that size (when open).

Yup, if the whole lineup of Air, PM, and Ultra comes in that light sky blue, I'll willingly go bankrupt.
