From what everybody is experiencing I am 100% sure the fault is on the cellular side and 90% sure it's a hardware fault, unless StarHub network somehow cause the phone to use much more power than it should.

Gotta agree with this. Where possible I try using 2g or wifi nowadays at least my phone can last longer till end of day. Just curious, does it mean that the phone has another chip for those on LTE communication ?

Is Samsung S3's battery life as bad?

Anyone did exchange of iPhone 5 from M1? What's the process like?

I had the same issue with Note over the pass year too, due to the bigger screen. Got a spare batt and it solves the problem.

Same issue with iPhone 5. Always recharge my phone in OFC before leaving and also got a 6000mah battery pack, can recharge phone twice to 100%.

Problem solved

Regarding the refurb set. As far as I read, I notice the refurb set comes with no battery charge at all, seem like this is really refurb set where apple engineers drain the battery to zero and return as refurb set? Just my observation I can be wrong...

From what Apple says, I think they combined the LTE chip with some other chip to save space. Can't remember which. Unlike other phones which have a separate chip just for LTE.

Im having this problem, reset it to factory settings twice but the problem is still there

Did u off your cellular data n use solely on wifi? I had this problem. But now it's solved. What I did was reset settings, reset network settings n it's ok now. Just wondering why is this happening

Guess it's pretty decent. Considering you have both LTE and Locations on. I have only LTE on and my battery's life is also about the same as yours. But that's good enough for me already! Way better compared to my old one, haha.

Same standby and usage time means some app or process is glitched and keep the device from going to idle. Try restarting phone and see if its solved. I get this from time to time as well. Restarting usually solve the problem. Otherwise it should be a bugged app or some settings.

I am curious to know if all three telcos user have this battery life issue or only a certain one of them.

cellular data is left on, i never turn it off.

I'll try resetting network settings and see if that works.

My ip4 never had such problems, its really annoying.

Wonder why is this happening. It seems like killing the background apps doesn't work either. Nth is on my multi task bar but usage time keeps increasing.

Google n found out most probably is iCloud.

Not sure why is this. But reset settings works for me though. Curious to know what is stopping the phone to idle.
