After upgraded to 6.0.1 last Fri, I am still getting poor battery life (normal usage max 4 hrs, wifi only max 6 hrs), I called Singtel today and they asked me to go down ComCentre for check-up, if found iPhone is not "up to Apple's specs" (normal usage min. 8 hrs on LTE), they will replace it.

So good? My phone a bit scuffed ley. Feel like going down to try my luck for an exchange. Hahaha. But the exchanges sets should be refurb sets right? Or are they giving new sets as refurb sets not in yet?

Surfing, twitter, Facebook, whatsapp on LTE for about two hours plus straight without any pause enough to drain my batt completely ley. Should I go and try my luck?

Why not? No harm but can only go to Comcentre and opens until 9PM.

I really want to get a replacement set because my wife's iphone5 (2 weeks old) can get 8hrs on normal usage.

Do note that, Comcenter Apple service centre tend to "close" shop for walkin after 8.15pm.
Better be there earlier if not no point as I seen first hand that they refuse to let customer in after 8.15pm.

I think they have some tools to check, I will update after I visit them today.

Yeah. Thanks in advance bro! Please state your phone color and condition too! As in before proceeding to exchange. Was it scuffed etc.

Btw bro. When you say they will replace it. Meaning replace at comcenter or just go comcenter for check-up then replace from ST?

Got my replacement set from ST Comcentre, now doing a full charge at home.

Very easy, here are the steps:

0. Backup all data, contacts, photos etc to icloud or your PC

1. Go to Comcentre ST's Technical Care for Apple

2. Take a Q number (10-15mins)

3. Wait for your Q number to appear (15-30mins)

4. Tell CSO your issue. Tips: Use more unique issue because poor battery life is too subjective and they will reject if their test is normal

5. They will test your iphone (15-20mins)

6. If can replace they will ask you to sign a form to wipe all your data from phone

7. Sign form and get a new set (CSO said brand new set)

Then call starhub. Their service center will be at a different place, but the steps are quite similar.

Yeah. I called StarHub. They say can't help, must walk in then they can do something about it. Can't really think of anything else besides battery issue. What excuse did you bomb?
