Hey there, anyone tried using OEM USB plug with authentic lightning cable to charge i5 and experienced any problems?

I tried charging my phone with OEM plug and authentic cable and my phone's slider failed to work. Keyboard became really unresponsive and the whole phone lagged. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

Faulty oem plug. Maybe due to different current or the power drawn, use to have that problem with my bb. Oem charger can charge 9780 but not for 9900. The 9900 will go haywired.

Correction: These cables are NOT even OEM unless they are manufactured by FoxConn factories that produces iPhone 5.

They are replicas or fakes = 山寨版。

Yap yap, a commonly misunderstood term.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, "usually" means manufactured by the original plant but marketed as another brand or even brandless (note that there are quite a couple of contradicting definition).

Replicas or Fakes or 山寨版 = No relation to the original manufacturer (but sometime use the same process or mould copied from the originals, that's why some look so much alike).

Most ppl are refering to replicas when they talk about cheap parts found on the internet.

Precisely, the workaround for replicas aka fake accessories should seek from the seller for replacement or refund. :D

I got my $6.90 lightning cable. Cheap and good and works well. Can also sync as well. Now got chiong cable in the car and office for charging while the home cable is the original one that comes with the phone.
