iPhone 6 plus cracked screen : help!

If u just bought it, within 60 days u can still get apple care+ to have it fixed, by paying accidental damage charges of $148, as screen crack is not under warranty.

If not you may still get it fixed at Apple service center for the price of $270 or $650(if Apple deem beyond repair) like the previous bro here posted.

My 1 month old 6s screen just cracked a few days ago. a.lab charge $270. i check one ah beng shop charges $148 for the glass only. if i buy apple care it will cost $228 + accidental damage service fee of $148. dont know what to do now:s11:

do you guys ah any good ah beng shop to recommend?

atomware just replied and charges $290?!

Go for the A.lab charge of S$270.

You can request for quotation first to know the exact price to avoid overcharge. The staff that repaired my iPhone did it very professionally and even to the extent to advise me on how to take care of my iPhone.

I chatted with the apple CSO, and they confirmed that if only repair screen/glass, it's $189.

Check with some ah beng shop and they charge $100 and claim it is genuine apple glass.

Wah, they actually quoted you the amount...

For me, like ive said, they die die say because these repairs are done by 3rd party (or sth like that), and refused to state even an estimated amount.

they want your business, that's y they can lie to u.
I doubt apple weill sell the glass to some ah beng shop

If not mistaken (as seen from those ifixit webs), the glass is stuck on LCD panel. you cant just replace the glass because that is a very tedious process. unless you dont mind "floating" glass panels
At 3rd party shops, they replace the entire thing even if your LCD is working. They keep your original LCD and probably do the tedious process slowly themselves or send it back to their supplier.

The ah beng mentioned something like the glue needs 3hrs to cure or something like that..

any recommendations for shops to fix cracked iPhone 6 (not the Plus or S) glass? still works but just dropped it recently and it's all cracked/ugly :( (annoyingly I had the apple battery case AND tempered glass protector; and all it did was fall off the bed)
