The first french telco (Orange) finally support esim... so Im gonna move my contract to them so I thinking either keep SingTel or moved to M1... I need both simcard on my iphone (for payment OTP etc..)

While Im traveling to Thailand or Indo etc.. they might not offer esim for tourist.

Malaysia Yoodo also offer eSim few month back, no contract and easy to manage with apps:
https://www.yoodo.com.my/esim/

Use my code for RM20 rebate :D

So far for roaming in SG, can receive sms even without a plan.

The current limitation is that only one SIM/number can be used for iMessage or Facetime. Now they will let you use both for the same Apple ID. For the simultaneous phone calls on Dual SIM, I suspect they refer to Dual Active - can you still incoming call on the other line when you are on one line but will have to try and see.

iOS 13 will support iMessage from both SIM cards and also receive calls from another SIM card if you are engage on the other line. So no more missed call issue.

Looking to change to this year's iPhone..

I just realised for M1, re-register eSIM need $5 sia..

How easy is it to lose the eSIM profile?
Does it survive a full wipe?

If you delete it deliberately. Otherwise, by wiping your phone your esim will still be there.

When you upgrade your phone to new iphone, you need ask m1 to profile a new download of esim profile at $5. Not significant amount consider ur phone is $800-900 at the minimum.

eSIM will survive a full restore to CURRENT device.

However, you'll need a new profile to use on a NEW device since eSIM is locked to current device.

So I am using ST Physical Sim and M1 esim. Data is on M1 and Call is on ST. I am experiencing delayed SMS through OTP for most transaction online via the ST SIM. But once I switch to ST as primary data it almost come in immediately. Anyone experience this

aiyo. How to get recourse ah. OTP sms is critical Zzz. I went to subscribe to M1 esim is because their simonly plans is the most attractive Zzz. ST still on contract leh think once is over, I will migrate to M1 with physical sim. while some people say have data or call disruption when doing both together, I do not seem to have that issue.
