so it will be better to go for ippt/rt and then report sick right? Since the treatment can be subsidize by mindef.

Report sick is 1 thing, you injured during ippt/rt is another. You report sick to the mo in camp, he can give you only that day excuse, could also mean that the day rt/ippt as no count, have to do makeup. You injured, you risk taking off from work or school and disruption to your daily life, may have to cough up more paying more since mindef only subsidize. You go think it over whether is it worth it to risk a current injury by taking rt/ippt or whether you pay yourself to see a doctor to get an excuse?

aiyoh what if you are already bec of taking ippt or rt. there is no correct procedure saying that how you go about claiming the medical consultations bec of these. And it's an injury bec of the call of the nation, it's not fair for the company and also the serviceman to borne the expenses.

Anyway, there was NSF who was invalid and the compensation was only 500 for 5 yrs. MAybe they should allow us to pay a lump sum to opt out of ns. ha ha 2 yrs X 500 = $12k

A9. You must have attended 7 IPPT Prep Training sessions before you are eligible to attempt your IPPT at the 8th IPT session.

Total 8 sessions, must attend all, no skipping 1 or 2 sessions like in RT. It's 2 weekdays schedule but there is a weekday-weekend schedule if you want to choose.

For the 2nd part, the 1st session is an ippt cat test(simply means ippt, no count no matter you pass or fail), 2nd-7th sessions training and the 8th/last session is an ippt.(Will be counted no matter you pass or fail.)

yes...but if you have any outstanding rt, you need to clear it 1st...

you can miss only 2 but MUST do make up...unlike rt when you miss 2 in phase 1 then don't need to do makeup...

You can only do 2 makeups max for ipt...

for the record, you can missed 3 sessions in phase 2 but "technically" you need to do make-up for those 3 you missed. Whether you actually perform make up or not is a debatable thing up to your intepretation.

Paiseh to ask....

If I only failed one static station(pass others and 2,4km run and achieve the minimal passing mark but dun have D for all), is it I can just try only that station for the next IPPT for the next 3 month before window close

Also, how do I go about it huh? Book one more IPPT or got special procedure?
