The thing about IPPT is that you have to keep regular training, so that it wont be so stressful when the IPPT date comes near, and dont have to last min train for it.

Especially the pull ups, if you have not done pull ups for awhile then you will definitely drop in the total number of pull ups for sure!

my advice is, if u guys wanna train, train for all stations, static stations + 2.4km. don't just focus on your weak stations. cus at the end of the day, IPPT is abt one shot taking all static stations + 2.4km.

Well i think to pass RT the best is not to go to the SAFRA clubs for the tests, unless you are really prepared. I went once to Tampines Safra for my test, the 2.4 running was on trackmill, this was my first time on trackmill and the pace was pretty fast, and there is an elevation set in the trackmill as well, and the speed is constance in order to pass. If you lower the running speed than you will stand a high chance of failing the 2.4 run!

Phew .... its totally difference from the normal 2.4 run in the fields or stadium where you can run on your own pace and chiong at the last or final run, or pace other runners infront.

So do take note when selecting where you decide to take your RT test of IPPT tests.

And also I feel that Maju camp IPPT is easier to PASS!

What do you think?

Last time I agree, but now with stupid 6 laps around the three tonners in the poorly ventilated car park. I don't think so..

Lack of fresh air will impede performance. And so to those spies looking at the forums, please note that I PREFER the OLD system!

Thank!

So if you fail your ippt and have registered for RT, can you still take ippt for your new window? and if you can, when you pass in the new window, can exempt from RT?

once you have registered for a RT schedule, u will realise the system will not allow you to book for any IPPT until you're released from RT. so the earliest IPPT u can take is still after 8 sessions in phase 1.

the only case where i know u can be exempted from ur registered RT is when u hav an IPPT during ICT tt takes place b4 ur RT. so if u can pass tt, u'll be exempted.

you must book an RT within 2 months after your window is closed, complete it by the 5th month.
