If u feel u can meet the desired target, u can self book an ippt at any time between the 10 sessions, and if successfully achieve, u r out of the program. Or u can just wait until the 10th session to go through the test.

Does this mean that if I got for my first IPT-IPPT and hit band one a few days later I can book my ippt, hit my band one PPT requirements and be out?

no restriction as long as u complete all 20 sessions within 3 months

U sure ict-ippt with fail result is counted? This rule always change, sometimes counted, sometimes not counted. Would suggest u to call ns.sg to clarify.

did u only opt for ipt after your window is closed? the 1 time conversation for rt to ipt?

I just received a SAF 264 saying that I have not taken/completed my RT or IPPT IPT. Thus I have to report to CMPB to "explain" why I didnt do so. I think this may lead to being charged.

But I find it too strange.

My birthday is end Aug, and I did my IPPT on late Nov last year. After that I didnt attend any IPT sessions. I started my RT from June 2012 onward. As of date, I have managed to book 20 sessions of RT which I should complete all of them before my window closes in late August 2012.

I called up NS hotline to seek help, but the service operator insisted that I am at fault. But I will be able to clear 20 RT before my window closes. So what is the problem???

And u just received the SAF 264 recently too?

When I was talking to female phone customer service just now ard 9pm, she was not very helpful or patient lor. Just keep repeating I am at fault for failing IPPT and not doing IPT within 9mths. Then I qns her back if she says 9mths is the key, then why I am only receiving the SAF 264 11mths after my window. But she say its different thing. Whatsmore I just returned from ICT highkey which ended last week. I have few plt mates who are fined for not completing IPPT, but I was not called up lor.
And I told her I already booked 20sessions of RT and they will complete before window. She repeated the same thing few times, then sounded pissed and say will ask my unit speak to me within 3 working days. WTF?!

Is there some change of RT policies? I have checked the ns.sg RT booking page, but it doesnt say anything about me defaulting or what.

What do u mean by u didn't attend any ipt session? Were u given an option to convert ipt to rt?

After the IPPT late Nov last year, I think I was told that I am in the lowest band category. But I know no matter how I train also no use lah, and I just wait to do RT when nearer to my window which is now lor.

But whether or not I was given an option, I am not too sure too. Coz IPT never came to my mind, was straight away thinking for RT le

Yes, the IPPT was done and failed in late Nov 2011.

Actually I have wrote out my situation above and I am a little lazy to write again, so allow me to copy paste.

My birthdate is late Aug, I started the 1st RT in June 2012. Today, I just completed my 8th RT session, and I will be able to complete all 20 RT sessions before my window closes in late Aug 2012.
