Cos from what I read is the irobot will calculate the area to be cover and took about 45min to cover the whole room.
NVM i will monitor again.

agree with molecule, the batt on my 535 last abt 1 1/2 -2 hrs.

blurrblurr, if u wish to try it out on how long the batt last, it's best to confine it within a rm using VW, then let it run until red or flat. that's the best way to know if your batt is optimised. If you let it run ard using VW or LH, it's might nt be as gd agauge. hope this helps. :)

$299 vs $219.95?!! you think worth it?

I think amazon is also selling the identical 335 for $219.95, same price, same $3.95 shipping & handling too...
http://www.amazon.com/iRobot-Scooba-Cleaning-Clorox-Solution/dp/B0010ESROG#othersites

saw another remanufactured one @ $139.95 only woh....free shipping somemore.....
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IZDUJU/ref=nosim/?tag=fatwalletcom&linkCode=as1
is this 335 or 350?

The $139.95 is a remanufactured 5800, renamed to 5999.

actually the diff between 335/350 and 5800 is just the battery capacity right?

any idea where is the battery being placed? is it possible to custom made your own bigger capacity battery?

should be more than that. :o

5800 is very heavy, maybe due to the metal parts

battery is place in the middle inside. Inside the battery is all C-size batteries.

no, i meant the charging bay, sole for the battery only....not docking station...

something like this:

by the way, is the battery durable? do we need to change battery like every 9-12 months if we use it everyday?

and what's the height of the scooba? I need to make sure the furnitures I bought in the future can accommodate this toy, if not no point :(

seems like a lot of people getting the lighter capacity battery for their 335 leh....that means can't do 500sqft as promised woh....
http://www.roombareview.com/chat/viewtopic.php?t=7468

er...where is the charging base for 335 battery?

not sure whether it can do 500sq ft, seems like many are unable to do that. :s22:

hsn website description does not show any charging base included. :s22:

i used only for abt 6mths, thanks god still working fine.:look:

height of scooba is abt 8cm.

if you want to buy extra battery, deliver to vpost, your parcel will be rejected if you declare it as battery.

that means when the batt really dead, we can dismantle the batt & put rechargeable C batteries & soldier them inside? :s11:

Yes, technically u can replace the cells within the battery housing. I dont think Scooba uses C sized cells, its 4/3A sized cells, long cylindrical ones. Anyhow, if u r replacing yr Scooba battery, go for the li-ion kit instead. Much much better than the NiMh cells :)

For details about these cells, replacement steps, etc., do a search in Roombareview, its been discussed in details.
