After the not too distant bubble burst, investors will be more cautious

There will be over inflated companies for sure

But AI is the future

Already Nvidia has a super computer AI chip that requires only 40 watts, this is just power needed for two home fans
Hope the future with it ,doesnt comes with new set of problems

As with all things it does

Just like now we have new scams where faces/voices can be replaced in videos that we cannot tell the difference between fake or real, among many others.

From pranksters to criminal elements, they will definitely make use of AI

Regulations and law enforcement will make new changes to adapt

It the same when horses become fast cars

A good indicator of whether AI is hype is look at the increasing job loss from the replacement of these workers by AI especially by front adopters like the big techs. Those layoffs are proof that they don’t need so much people anymore and it is not caused by declining revenue but rather the opposite achieved by fewer employees which points towards greater efficiency.

That's is for the entertainment industry solely šŸ¤“
Not only, even in construction, advertising and graphics all affected including related production lines, but of course new jobs will come out of it but may not be that many compared to the loss šŸ¤”

Affects freelancers in the creative line too

Since small biz owners now can use AI to generate ads and promos.

And these outputs are usually ā€œgood enoughā€ to save some money.

Those layoffs are related to offshoring and slowing economy... Just look at interest rates, it dived because growth expectations is in the drain.

AI is just a convenient scapegoat.

I've been using AI. But it always make me second guess its answer. Caught it lying afew times.

Idk how you replace human with ai when it has no accountability and often lies.

Look at the big techs financials. Double digit growth % yoy revenue. In fact around 85% of SP500 beat earnings.

Outside of big tech, consumer staples are losing revenue. The wider US economy is in trouble. Verizon just announced a 15% cut to their entire workforce.

There are also reports that big tech is not being honest with their earnings reports, a lot of hidden debt not reflected in their ER. They are borrowing massively using SPV, to fuel their data center boom and those debt is not shown to shareholders.

Some also claim that big tech expenditure is now outpacing their revenue, they are using creative accounting to move the numbers around.
