wow next time buy snapdragon i9+ gen4 390. It is over for Intel overclocking :o

Well, when change will come, it will come.

INTC hasn't recovered after a month. It's being boycotted.

Go up a bit people sell already, all want to run. EU and US take ethics very seriously one, you cannot do this kind of ****..

Pffft AMD fan boys basking in all the intel hate. Every generation it is the same ****. No one can hate Intel more Krado. HE IS THE BENCHMARK. @ragnarok95 will agree. Fanboys these days weak la. 🙄

How Intel handled the current crisis was wrong. AMD is often protected as the meek and lowly underdog, but the fanboys rush to crucify the big, mean evil Intel and NVIDIA when they make mistakes. #FACT

The way I look at it is this: pick your poison. None are perfect or free of fault. Decide what you want and buy it. Then deal with whatever happens. Expect the worst. All of them suck and all of them are dishonest. None are honorable or trustworthy. And none of them care about you, your PC, or how it affects you. It's not their problem.

We should not expect more from Intel or hold them to a higher standard simply because their failure rate is lower or because their faults are more rare. In the end, what we expect from any of them does not matter. We do not matter. They only care about money, market status and shareholders. They all operate on the same business model. Shilling for either camp is pure stupidity and childishness in this time and age. Some people need to seek a new life. It's getting stale with all the bashing.
Totally Agreed
By the way, nobody truly asks anyone to purchase Intel for those who prefered them
Individuals purchased it with their own money, thus they are free to do as they like and choose what system they want
I'm not sure what they gained for all of that hate....(sponsorship)? Perhaps someone attacked AMD base so harshly that it instilled hatred and detestation towards Intel
By all means, use AMD if they prefer it to Intel. Nobody interfere with their choices and just moved on
However, if you look at the AMD thread here, the AMD CPU is also not doing well, and you can see some people ready to stand up and say all the positive things about AMD and telling people it is just a hiccup and AMD is fixing it but nothing drastic has happened it is just merely to make AMD appear good but if they are on any Intel thread, they blasted Intel like mad. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Hard to please people nowadays
If the system lives more that five years and above
hands so itchy wanted to build new system because according to them previous system already aging and is not to spec.
However, if the system lasts fewer than five years, the same people also complain how bad the system or manufacturer is

No one is attacking anyone, the only people that see it this way are the full time defenders that spawn whenever someone make a criticism of certain brand, i even made many correct prediction on who will appear in what kind of thread.

Imagine being such a die-hard fan that one can have a mental breakdown being a full-time defender of the wrongdoings of the brand they idolize, that's a problem with the person, not the people making the criticism.

As I said, birds of a feather flock together, as both the fan and the brand are morally rotten. Don't make others sick with your cult-like behaviors and learn some rationale.

I not referring to anyone, just saying in general.

Be it AMD or Intel, how does that matter? Just buy their chips when you need it and when it meets your requirement. There is no perfect anything in this world, and everyone have their own preference. Hate Intel, is AMD paying us or showering us with love, vice versa?

Having said that, all that we see that's happening with Intel is decades of mismanagement there. I think this is the general problem where CEOs come in quick, make the money get a very nice severance package (as long as they don't mess up badly), and past the crap swept under the carpet to the next CEO. AMD was in this same mess prior to Lisa Su joining.

I have already commented, and you have also commented on what I have said.
Why is it that some individuals view it as a personal agenda?
If you do not trust the product, do not use it, and if it is not your personal preference, do not use it.No need to call certain folks. Intel Groupy, for example, is no different than being referred to as an AMD Kpop. People will continue to argue over which maker is the best and also never benefit them from the drama.

Just move on and build whatever system you choose; no one is forcing you, and no one is asking you to pay to build someone system. If you know something doesn't work for you quit using it, and find another product. If, however, you continue to criticize the manufacturer unrelentingly, you appear immature.

I thought Hardware Clinic was a site where individuals sought answers and news about outstanding tech or offers, rather than bashing hatred comment toward manufacturers repeated over again and providing unhelpful information.Hardware Clinic now become Drama Clinic for some reason

It’s over for Intel :o

chiphell reviewer find 285k has poor OC head room even at 1.5v. Intel last saving grace, core overclocking, in tatters thanks to tsmc

Pat needs to get intel own fabs online quick!!

Not really, it's only over for the minority who care about those things, if intel continues to target niche audiences, then it really will be over.

Remember, AMD is selling well because of power efficiency, price, and simplicity. Intel on TSMC will be more power efficient at stock, and most people will care about that, maybe in future it can turn into something meaningful.

Arrow and AMD 5% stock power efficiency will be a close battle. If let's say they are equal, most likely people will pick AMD because intel reputation is currently not at its best.

I agree, and I believe it's important to acknowledge the facts. The only way to stop the people who are trying to surpress these facts is to call them out.

In a forum like HWC, the focus is on discussing facts openly and objectively regardless of respecting one another feelings. Criticism is not driven by personal preference but by the need to discuss product issues.
  1. If anyone advocates for the freedom to choose which systems to build, then why do they not also support the freedom to express criticisms towards their favoured products?
  2. Why a person can be such a hypocrite and dismiss valid criticism as 'immature' while insisting that others should 'just move on' or 'just don’t use the product if you don’t like it'?
  3. Any attempts to suppress these discussions only harm the community by keeping others in the dark. So why would anyone without an agenda do that?

It's obvious that the real issue lies not with the criticism but with those trying to surpress criticism and spin the narrative  .

No, it is over for this generation :o

9800X3D must grab on day 1

more 285K leaks
10/16 Shin x Group Live

- The dream of the 15th generation

1) Don't expect 15th generation gaming

Can't beat the 14th and 13th generation, will it be the 12th generation or not? Question

2) The work of the 15th generation is better. Video editing is good, and the power is good.

3) We have to put out the next generation as soon as possible, we can't last for 2 years with this.

4) Seeing the 15th generation coming out, the X-cheap Amd won first.

5) Multi-performance is a slight difference with 14900K power restriction lifted

6) Seeing that the price of the 14th generation has been lowered, the 15th generation is not good, so I think they are trying to sell it together.

PS: You just put the 15th generation gaming performance in the same story.

In reality this thread does not really matter much, since the people here are more enthusiast for HW and more concerned about high performance CPUs.

To most people, Desktop CPUs or Motherboards do not matter. Laptop matters more. Then it is hard to say AMD really wins on the laptop side.
https://pcviewed.com/amd-vs-intel-cpu-market-share/

I bought two Intel Core Ultra 125H based Acer Swift GO OLED version for my wife and my daughter this year for their study, since they really need the laptop because of the old laptops are really aging (2017 Acer Swift Laptop with Core i5 8250u CPU, and a low end Asus Chromebook with a low power CPU).

My original intention was to wait for next year for the new generation of AMD/Intel platform along with new Mac Mini with Apple M4 silicon.

Personally I am AMD/Intel neutral, Windows/macOS/Linux neutral. I tend to think Intel is too big to fail for US government. So Intel will survive in the end. But it probably will be a different Intel after all the problems.

BTW, I am biased against Windows on ARM64, let's see if I am wrong in a few years...
