Propertly speaking yes. Make sure you use a grounded adapter for an appliance that should be grounded. Most adapters are missing the ground pin.So using an adaptor is just as safe as using Singapore plug?

In fact it becomes safer when you do not use adapter, especially for those high power appliances like cookers and heaters. So change the plug when that appliance is going to be used long term.
