If I do buy that, I might get it from TB.
Am drawing up a list. Am assuming that the first timer free shipping is for whole list ordered. Will have to check before submission.
Cooking rice doesn't take long so I can monitor. As for dehydrator, needs many hours, so I can't monitor .
Actually, I don't have high sugar.. but I'm thinking it should have same effect for arsenic ( rice has arsenic).
Dun go for high wattage appliances, higher risk of burning it if is lousy made.

Rice cooker I can't advise you as I dun have a low sugar rice cooker.

Mmmm I like to open up anything I buy online to inspect.
I have taken delivery of miswired equipment before. Or ground wire left hanging even though it isn't double insulated.

Or correctly wired, but wires hanging to screw terminal by an few cockhairs.

So using an adaptor is just as safe as using Singapore plug?
Propertly speaking yes. Make sure you use a grounded adapter for an appliance that should be grounded. Most adapters are missing the ground pin.

but rice cooker is just a rice cooker.
every brand is the same outcome (final product : which is rice is cooked).
Sellers claim it can reduce the carbs in rice, no scientific proof yet, so ppl willing to try will buy the idea.

Long ago, decades ago, someone told me that her father's doctor advised them to use more water when cooking rice, and to throw away the excess water ( her father had diabetes). This is same thing except it makes it easier to do so

Yes and i want to add:

In fact it becomes safer when you do not use adapter, especially for those high power appliances like cookers and heaters. So change the plug when that appliance is going to be used long term.
Yes, I have 1 adapter melted, lucky smelled the plastic smell and quickly switched off.

Using a plug is better as there is a fuse inside.
