Sadly, the HWZ management had been trying to kill off the forum for quite some time liao. First was requiring mobile phone verification for sign ups, then recently requiring SingPass age verification to view whatever their AI think is mature content.

In that sense, the forum is much cleaner and much more peaceful.

Agreed it is more peaceful... the same way cemeteries, graveyards and columbariums tend to be very peaceful.

Some went to reddit, some moved on with life, some maybe ahem. No new blood cos no one is gonna register using their handphone number. Now got censorship even though HWZ is a fraction of the traffic of reddit which has minimal censorship.

It's less in activities with alot of China expert threads filtered off, that's a tremendous improvement.
