Basic professional etiquette should be required. If they offered to let me off video and say is just going to be an audio call is fine. But 2 person watching me throughout and both hide behind the screens.

This kind also mnc .. jialat .. šŸ˜‚.

Anyway like what others say .. interview u to make up numbers only. Very common to do that.

If never turn on camera, definitely damn unprofessional and I will not want to work with them. Maybe I will purposely sarcastic to them and ask them how come no turn on video camera are you there, since I will not want the job. Might as well disiao them.

I got kena before 1 damn unprofessional interview.

I hardly apply to SME companies one but that one ish international brand so I apply. But somehow the SG entity I found out it seems to be like some SME to me.

The interviewer ish the biggest in the company. He interviewed me while he was driving. Knn at first I was like how come he never turn on camera. Then after some time I realized he was driving. Of course the whole time he never look at camera but I saw his side view driving.

Virtual interview invited scheduled only have 1 interviewer.

End up someone mysterious join, never turned on video and the main person late.

Then both join. And realised the mysterious person is the reporting mgr while the main interviewer is the director.

And both off camera through out while I'm left an idiot on the camera and throughout 1h ask a lot difficult questions.

Doesn't seems engaging. The role is also very demanding and hours are bad.

Is it really caz now is employers market so interviewers can do what they like?
Despite being listed company and director or what-not rank, if you ask me, I think they were not being very professional and lacked courtesy.

But when demand > supply, and you have who knows how many others vying for this position, they do this you also LLST.

It depends on how hungry and needy you are for this job. That is assuming they shortlist you after this interview. Then you decide whether to take it further or not. I worked in a global MNC for years, and we didn't do this kind of thing one.

My 4 cents for reference only. Good luck.

I actually prefer SME because the boss can directly make decisions. You don’t need to go through many layers

money is the most important, if demanding and bad hours, ask for 20% -30% increase in salary. Take the job and wait it out. Money most important, pap said before, whats wrong with making more money. money is everything.

They might be following HR advice from LinkedIn which is very toxic.

Quite good liao, moi kena BB online interview they never show up.

Moi never even apply for the role, HR reached out and even the day before HR ask to confirm interview moi say ok then on the schedule interview no one showed up. Moi wait inside the zoom for 15 mins then email HR, after 1-2 hours they reply say position close liao.

Go work DBS better sia, BB attitude problem. Imagine you burn a leave or travel down then nobody is there for the interview.

The only thing matter is whether you needed the job.
