Hi evilerniex

I am finally down to deciding on my itinerary as follows:
Flight : SIN-NGO-SIN Travel dates Last week November to Early December (11 Days)

Day 1 Takayama (proceeding straight since I arrived at 8.40 am in NGO)
Day 2 Takayama (+ Shirakawa-go daytrip)
Day 3 Nagoya
Day 4 Nagoya
Day 5 Kyoto
Day 6 Kyoto
Day 7 Kyoto (+ Nara daytrip)
Day 8 Osaka
Day 9 Osaka (+ Hemeji daytrip)
Day 10 Nagoya (staying in Nagoya as it near to Chubu Centrair cos my flight at 10.30 am following day)
Day 11 Return

Rail and Bus pass
--------------------
Shoryudo 3Day pass for Chubu Centrair Airport, Takayama, Nagoya.
Kintetsu Rail Pass Wide for Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Chubu Centrair Airport.

My main purpose is to enjoy the scenic autumn colors, the temple shrines and food, but less of shopping and NO plans to visit Universal Studio in Osaka.

Is my itinerary doable and do you have any further tips to offer?

Much appreciated on your assistance.

Thanks :)

for the day trip to nara, u can do it from osaka as well. cost and travel time is about the same, but depends on where u staying in osaka also lah.
osaka would be a better base coz accommodations are usually cheaper and there are more things to do at night in osaka

Anyone been to Hitachi Seaside Park or Ashikaga Flower Park before? Intending to go in early May but not too sure if it's worth the journey. Thanks!

see whether u like wisteria or baby blues more?

if possible, check website on the status of the bloom when u are there, in case the blooming period is over or too early.

or maybe go to the one that is more convenient. Ashikaga shld be easier to get to. Hitachi seaside park will require a transfers on train and a bus ride.

can be done, although not very cost effective coz it is expensive and time consuming to travel between Osaka and Tokyo. there are also many interesting places near Osaka, such as Kyoto and Nara, and it will be quite a squeeze if u want to put everything in.

Day 2
Tsukiji Fish Market
Ginza
Ueno Ameyoko
Asakusa - Nakamise Shopping Street
Asakusa - Sensoji Shrine
Tokyo Skytree
Akihabara
[looks quite packed. usually Ueno + Asakusa + Akiba will already take a whole day]

Day 3

Disneyland

Day 7
Depart Tokyo to Kyoto via Shinkansen or what other transport?
Gion District - Geisha Street
Kiyomizudera (清水寺)
Higashiyama District
Leave Kyoto to Osaka via Shinkansen or what other transport?
[shinkansen is probably the most convenient way to get from Tokyo to Kyoto. other alternatives will be overnight buses or domestic flights.
for Kyoto to Osaka, there are regular trains. dun need to take shinkansen.
quite rush to travel from Tokyo to Kyoto (about 3hrs by shinkansen), then travel to Osaka. suggest u visit Kyoto on another day.]

Day 8
Osaka Castle
Osaka Aquarium
Osaka Dotobori Namba
Den Den Town

Day 9
USJ

Day 10

Will be going to Tokyo and Osaka, but have not yet planned the Osaka Itinerary. Please review my Tokyo Itinerary, thanks. I'll be staying at Shinjuku area.

Day 1:
- Arrival at 9.50am
- Lunch at Ichiran Ramen
- Shopping @ Takashimaya, Isetan, Lumine 2
Is the Government building worth a visit?
And are there any soft serve ice cream in the Shinjuku area?
- Dinner: Musashi @ Shimbashi station
- Maybe Ginza at night?

Day 2:
- Breakfast at hotel
- Shopping at Harajuku : Takeshita Street
- Lunch at Kyushu Jangara Ramen
- Find crepe to eat
- Shopping at LaForet, etc.
4pm: Shibuya Station
Dinner: Midori Sushi
Or is Uoriki Kaisen Sushi better?

Day 3:
Any suggestions for breakfast?
- Imperial Palace
- Lunch: Tokyo Ramen Street (Rokurinsha)
- Asakusa: Sensoji Temple
- Tokyo Skytree?
- Dinner: Uoriki Kaisen sushi @ Shibuya?

Day 4 would be Osaka
